Who We Are

Welcome to Columbus Youth Ballet Academy!

Since its founding in 1986, Columbus Youth Ballet Academy has provided the highest quality ballet training for all children from preschool age through pre-professional levels. Our mission is to offer training that is relevant to present-day dance career needs and helping each student prepare to succeed in the evolving aesthetics of classical and contemporary ballet.

What We Offer

At Columbus Youth Ballet Academy, our ballet curriculum encompasses a unique blend of Russian, French, Danish and American technique as practiced in professional companies and schools in the United States and Europe. We also offer training in Modern, Street Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and more.

Our programs are designed to provide a step-by-step syllabus for children’s dance education in accordance with each child’s physical, technical, musical and emotional development.

Columbus Youth Ballet Project

Founded in 1989, Columbus Youth Ballet Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit pre-professional ballet performing company established to support future generations of dancers.

Today, Columbus Youth Ballet Project (CYBP) continues to provide opportunities for talented and serious young dancers to showcase their capabilities and high standard of performance.
