Since its founding in 1986, the goal of Columbus Youth Ballet has been to provide the highest quality classical ballet training for children from pre-school age through pre-professional levels. Under the direction of Sharon Daye, studio owner and teacher with over 40 years of dance experience, CYB offers dance education and training for all ages, abilities and interests with experienced, professionally trained faculty.
The ballet curriculum has been designed to integrate the best elements and techniques from a variety of sources, including: Russian Vaganova, Checchetti, and the French classical school. This curriculum provides students with a well-rounded classical ballet and contemporary
dance education.
