Summer Classes
2007 will be CYB’s 21st annual Summer Dance Program. Classes will be offered in the evenings, similar to the regular school year . Summer is a great time to work on dance moves that the student finds difficult, tackle something new, or try a different genre of dance. CYB’s summer session will take place from June 11 to August 24.
Central Ohio Dance Academy
Columbus Youth Ballet now offers Adult Classes in Ballet, Jazz and Tap, as well as teen and adult classes in Street Jazz and Break Dance through our Central Ohio Dance Academy studio.
Break Dance
is offered for ages 10 and older. Our progressive training program was developed by instructors James Alexander and Renshawn Lomax, based upon their years of experience performing and competing throughout the U.S. Students are tested on required skills to advance between training levels.
Street Jazz
is available for students aged 10 and older. This highly energetic class combines street dance moves as seen in music videos with more traditional jazz technique to create a unique and enjoyable dance experience.
Adult class availability is contingent on a minimum enrollment of 5 students.
